Floppy ears, fluffy cotton ball tails and teeny tiny pink paw pads – bunnies make the best animals to transform into an adorable easter card! Foam pads help to add dimension to the arms and feet, and the easter egg cradled in the bunnies paws offers the perfect opportunity for creativity, using jewels, tapes, markers or stickers.

These cards make a great classroom craft and at home spring activity.

How to Make

If using a cutting machine – upload the SVG file and cut the pieces from your cardstock ( Note: Change the blue line to a score line in the centre of the main card piece in your cutting software. Attach the scoreline to its corresponding section)

If using the PDF template – print the template onto sturdy paper or cardstock, cut around the pieces and use the templates to trace onto coloured cardstock. Ensure you cut the correct number of pieces as noted on each template section.

Draw eyes, mouth and whiskers onto the right hand side of your main card.

Glue on the nose, circles and ovals to the feet and the centre of the main ear.

Use a foam pad to attach the floppy ear section to its base, the feet to the lower edge of the card and the arms to the main card section.

Glue the ears to the back of the front section of the card.

Fold the card in half. Apply a small amount of glue to the back of the card and press down the cotton ball tail.

Decorate the easter egg cut out using washi tape, jewels, markers or any other odds and ends.

Attach a sticky foam rectangle to the back of the egg, and attach to the main card piece as if it is being held in the bunny’s paws.

Your card is complete!
